Early Years at The JB School
The JB School (Early Years) blends strong foundations in language, numbers, and life skills with warmth, routines, and play.

Children settle into routines that feel calm and predictable.
Curious
Questions, play, stories, and exploration drive early learning.
Seen
Teachers notice each child’s pace and guide them with care.

Our Approach
We want children to feel safe, curious, and seen. That means gentle structure, clear routines, and teaching that gives enough guidance for confidence while leaving room for questions, conversation, and exploration.
Stories, songs, conversation, and early writing experiences help children listen closely and share ideas with confidence.
Children build number sense through sorting, patterns, counting, comparison, and hands-on problem-solving.
Routines, independence, self-care, turn-taking, and kindness are practised every day in age-appropriate ways.
Daily Rhythm
Mornings begin with welcome routines, circle time, and calm transitions into focused learning. Across the day, children move between teacher-guided moments and hands-on exploration, with time for movement, stories, outdoor play, and rest. The structure feels reassuring without feeling rigid.

Campus life in the early years is intentionally warm and active: story corners, music and movement, art, outdoor play, classroom celebrations, and spaces where children can practise independence with support close by.

We keep communication practical and steady. Families receive updates through ERP, learning support through Booster, and direct guidance from the school when a child needs help settling, practising, or moving to the next step.
For Current Families
Regular visitors often come to the site for one thing: getting into ERP or Booster quickly. We keep both links visible in the header, on mobile, and on the Parents page.
